At the Zoo 2
Some animals or inmates as some of them reminded me of, just don't like to cooperate but still saved the pic anyhow since I hate to waist a pic of an interesting animal.

Sometimes there are days where you don’t know exactly how to say things cause your having one of those “bla” days. It can go on for a few days sometimes a month. I have a feeling it has to do with the change of the seasons. Less light not to mention a lack of sunny warm or as I prefer hot days, really makes a persons brain feel like jelly. Sigh, I’m really not looking forward to being back at the fall n winter seasons. I wish I could just hibernate though it all or just sprout wings and fly south. Those Canadian geese got it all worked out. Ha! Still at least I got away for 2 days in Toronto. It was a good distraction and a reminder that summer was not yet over with. Personally it would have been better to go south to Florida for at least two weeks but this was still good too. Got a room at a hotel with a pretty cool view. You could see a really nice pool from the window. It had a kid section, a traditional deep end and a hot tub area. There were a few extras like a mini side in the shape of a frog and a conventional cork screwy water slide for every one else. The pool was pretty empty since the normal crowd of families with children was in school. It was tempting to have a swim the first day but I was pretty exhausted and a bit car sick, which made it harder to eat as well at dinner. I nearly upchucked at the restaurant. Luckily I didn’t but felt relieved anyhow when I found the bathrooms. The next day we went to the zoo, one of my favorite places to visit. If I lived close to one, I’d be there almost every day providing that the day was nice and warm and or if I had the cash. Even an arboretum/aviary with a small about of animal life would be nice to be at. It’s a great place of inspiration and a stress reliever not to mention great exercise too. I got to see the usual exotic animals, rhinos, elephants, large cats, gorillas, small monkeys, fish, assortment of birds and insects. Some of the animals even had babies. Some of the cutest babies were the little golden monkeys. Such a tiny little animal with an even tinier baby clinging to the back. I took a good amount of pics with my camera and my dads since he still had some film on his. It was feeding time for most of the animals so I got some pretty good shots but still missed a few as well. There were 2 to 3 mierkats just waiting to have they’re pics taken but I got distracted with this totally cool display of colourful fish covering every inch of the aquarium window. You had to be there. I finished the zoo day with a hotdog, a sore body and souvenirs of memories and pics, maybe just in time since it started to rain. In the mean time please enjoy these pics I’ll probably show a bit at a time since not all pics are available yet. Don’t forget to check out my Creative log, I have some new artwork in there.

Hay did any one watch the lunar eclipse?

Bonus question……….
Also did you notice any unusual happenings, like nuttier then usual people, animals really getting love sick est?

As for me I know the moon was out last night. It really lit up the night sky and yard only I really didn’t have a good angle or rather place to watch it unlike my old house. There was this old shed I love to climb on, stretch out and watch the stars. The only way I can visit that place now is in my dreams and fantasies. Some other dude owns my former place and totally changed what use to be there. Other then the fact of the moon supposedly turning red while the earth shadows it, there seemed to have been plenty of unusual activity. One of our neighbors had to be sent to the hospital via ambulance. A cat, probably an unfixed male roaming around the outside of my bedroom was making soft and tender meows to I guess woo a female. The only thing, it’s making me wooed. Ever since I lost my last cat Missy to old age, it’s all I can thank of, to get another furry friend and save one from the human society. My father is really giving me a hard time on this. Why now? We had cats before but then again he really never like the ones we had but tolerated them. Ugh! I’m too old for this. Too old to be living with parents and the stupid for the child rules of the house. Yeah I would leave to have my own place, but space, freedom and apparently being treated like an adult costs money, which I have a lack of considering there is a lack of work too. If I could just get some freelance work and for the right people to notice me, I’ll have it made. I mean I already have the skills and the will. Like I said so many times before some people have the silver platter of life while others have the dirt.
End of partial rant.

A little hug for a rainy cool day.
I had this little guy since I was a baby. He was always there to keep me company even against the scarcest child hood monsters. He even had a little brother but he’s with my uncle in Croatia along with a stuffed Mickey stuffed in a drawer. My little teddy still sits today beside my bedside; still guarding my bed and being all cuddly as usual no worse for wear.

Well, all finished with storing the last of the peaches for this year. I actually have some more still in a basket but no more jars to store any more. Oh well so I guess we’ll just have to eat those in a hurry before they go bad. The few peaches that were left on the tree were squired away by my friendly local neighborhood gray squirrel and a house finch. A small bird that’s a bit bigger then a common sparrow, that has stripes on its stomach and the male has peachy red hood. I kind of think that they plotted the whole thing and shared it with the local robins and yellow jackets. The yellow green grapes are just coming into season and I believe that soon it will be there turn to be visited by the local admirers. Oh and here’s a few pics of the canned and jammed peaches along with our new car.

Saturday, August 04, 2007

Been so busy with those crazy good peaches to do really any thing else. Surprisingly enough, I’m still not sick of them; only maybe I’m sick of doing all the work of canning and making the jam by my self. I really wish could have a little help but no one bothers. I kind of feel like the “little red hen” the story about the chicken that tries to get the other farm animals to help in the bread making but gets snubbed and in the end she and her chicks get to eat the fruits of her work only it doesn’t seem to work for me like that. I do the work and every one else helps them self to the fruits of my labor. Oh well at least it all tastes good. I only hope there will still be something to enjoy during the winter.

Pretty typical of me not saying anything for a while but I'm back for a while or maybe not. Who knows? Any ways some of my recent highlights, a few weeks ago the family van broke down. We had that thing since 88. I kind of think it has seen its last road. It was as old as my cat that also recently died. Because we really needed a new ride we got one. A new black Buick with all the extras, like a years worth of GPS and 3 months worth of Sat radio. I'll probably take a few pic when I actually get around to it. My dad put the licence plate with my name on it on to the car. It’s really nice and all but I know it’s really not my car. If I could afford it mine would have been a cute Volkswagen Beetle, either a yellow or a green one. Of course I wouldn't mind a nice scooters, you know one of those Vespas you see in Europe. I saw a cute pink one a few years ago in a parking lot. But for the most part I would rather have a new kitty any day over any of these things.
But one thing that really upset me at the time and made me kind of depressed was that he said that it would probably be the last car he would ever purchase. :_( What a big downer to an otherwise supposedly happy experience. Kind of like adding salt to your jam instead of the sugar. He was always a bit of a downer for the most part.
Its no wonder why my mother went off the deep end like that several times in the past.

Any how, since its once again that time of the year when our peach tree is full of luscious peaches, its time to enjoy them. This year I tried my hand at canning and making jam out of them. I only hope that they turn out tasty and don't turn in to botchelisim. I'm pretty sure I sealed the jars OK I'm using a few of those old-fashioned jars with the flip top lid that later get sealed by means of that clamp. Can't wait to try that peach jam. I'm sure with in a few days, I'll probably be sick to my ears with them.

I opened a Cafepress store just for fun. Good for a side thing and still have to put up a few links to it. I have a few things in there and will add something else for Christmas since I already have it. I only hope people will be interested in my stuff.

Last but not least, went to a cat show yesterday. My first one. I only wish my mom was a bit more understanding since she sort of got me to go at an earlier time. Oh well I told her so. I only wanted to be there for a while like a half an hour but we ended up staying for hours. Totally unnecessary. Oh well, it was cool any ways since we got to see all kind of breeds, some of the judging and the souvenir venders. Pretty well disciplined cats if I do say so my self. I think the most interesting cats were the hairless ones and the Persian. The little white persians had eyes like owls. There was this black a white Scottish fold that reminded me of penguins. Sadly I was not able to take pictures since the room had low lighting and I try to avoid using the flash out of the respect of the animals.

Maybe he’s just a guy that has a little too much of time on his hands or just a creative thinker, but I think the whole concept is really cool.

This guy, he took a cheapo key chain camera did a bit of tinkering and put it on his cat. Now you can see what its like to be a cat. See the wonderful exciting adventures via his web site.

Went to a small park-et called Colchester harbor last weak after a drive with my dad. A nice little park-et with a marina and small beach. Really nice, clean and quite private. I managed to take a few pics of the area but not exactly the ones I was hoping to get. They had this fox snake with the thickness of my big tow sunning its self on a rock but wasn't quick enough to capture it on film, the same with the cute family of mallard ducks with there babies because of people shyness. Sigh... Oh well here's some boring pics I took.

BTW last week I just installed some new software so wasn't online for a bit.

Empty nest
One by one the kids left the nest. One didn't make it though. The little guy/gall flew across the yard to the street and sort of stood there for a moment but luckily it made a run for the yard of our neighbour’s house. I was worried that some car would go by and make road pizza. So thinking it was safe and sound me and my mother went to the mall and took care of a few things. We came back home and took out our things that we bought and put them away and decided to look out the door to see for any babies. Unfortunately we saw one as road pizza close to our yard. I'm guessing that was the same bird that we saw earlier and unfortunately made the wrong choice. Poor little guy/gall.

Mama bird went out to look for lunch in the park so I got an even better photo opp today. I wonder where is papa bird though?

As you can see the babies eyes are just starting to open. I hope though that I could possibly get even better pics of the mama and babies feeding but I don't want to go to far because of the possibility of spooking them too much.

I also remembered that I had a bunch of grapes that have been in the fridge for a while. I took them out and placed them on the porch near the railing. I think mama bird really appreciated them. It was kind of funny when she and the grapes she was pulling at fell of the ledge. Yep I guess she really enjoyed them. I only hope they’re a little more considerate when her and her family start to attack our fruit tree and grape vine when the season is right.

Monday, May 14, 2007

Well I managed to get some pics of the robins. Didn't get too close since those birds are kind of skittish. Luckily they're close enough for me to take pics. Would like to take some better ones if the opportunity arises. I think they're about 4 to 5 days old and I think there's about 2 or 3 of them.

Made another nest for my doves today. Its for my little sweetie who is a bit crippled on one leg. She tries to nest with the others, only they give her a hard time about it. So now she has her very own nest in a private part of the outdoor cage. I only hope the others don't take too much notice and let her be. None the less she was quite pleased with it, even excepted a fake egg and some bits of straw and twigs. I could just see her happy face and a sparkle in her eye.

Thursday, May 10, 2007

Looks like we got some new neighbors. You know the birds that I guess pooped a smile on Pretty boys rock? Well they made a nest in the tree near the porch a few weeks ago, lade a few eggs and yesterday I noised two cute yellow and big mouths so far in the nest. Yep their robins. I'll try to take a few pics when of course no one is around. Its too distracting otherwise.

Monday, May 07, 2007

Well I failed again. What else is new. What I failed at only my cousin knows.
Sigh.. i really could use a cat. Still not ready for it yet. Still getting ready for a new buddy though.
Maybe by the time I'm ready hopefully this crazy pet food recall will be done with and resolved.

Wednesday, April 18, 2007

Oh yeah

I was looking out the window earlier today why'll drinking coffee and I notice the rock I buried my pet cockatiel Pretty boy under just a few months before. I know that birds like to sun them selves in the morning on it and they sometimes tend to leave things behind if you know what I mean. Well I guess either a dove or some robin was really being a Jackson Paulic and kind of enhanced the rock with a bit of artistic licence. You be the judge.

As you know I haven't been spending a whole lot of time on the net lately. Unfortunately I have been spending it as in life doing a whole lot of worrying about things. Well I can't help it and some how I still manage even if I'm sometimes just hanging on my rope. When I am online, its just checking up on things and just a bit of surfing. On a lighter note I found some cool things that were of special interest to me not to mention very helpful. That is software. Its from an open source and hopeful very useful. I think what I'll do is post the ones that I have already tried that I think are cool and useful that others might find useful as well.

Here's a nifty one that you might like and best of all its free.
Its called CamStudio and what it does it basically records what ever is currently on your computer screen. It has some nice controls as in you can adjust things like pan speed, it records in AVI or flash format and also records the sound just like you would here on the computer.
Its definitely a nice find for Window users. They might make it for Mac's as well but not sure but its cool none the less.

Origionally written March1 07
Things that I’ve been up to. Well I’m still morning the lose of my best bud Missy. When ever I have something really tasty I kind of think of her, I miss sharing it with her. Sometimes when I have left my jeans on the floor it looks a lot like her at night. It kind of reminds me of her lying asleep near the radiator. It really does look like her at night. My mom comes in my room time to time looking for her so she could give her a nice scratch, but then she remembers that she is no longer there. The other day I watched some doves sunning them selves on the mound of dirt where Missy is buried. I wonder if that’s significant.

We just had another I guess you would still call it a winter storm; only this time we didn’t have any snow but a whole lot of water. In fact it’s still raining and I think it’s suppose to eventually turn to snow. I really hope not. I only hope it warms up soon. It really sucks being indoors all the time. I’m really getting that cabin fever thing.

I had a weird dream last night. It had this old chimp in it. It was kind of ugly. He some how got into our porch at the house I use to live at. Anyhow he was just going around trying to get attention but all every one did was run away from him. No one wanted any thing to do with him because he was old and ugly. So I bravely came up to the chimp and gave it what it wanted. A nice scratch on the head. It was just a lonely soul that needed some one to make him feel a little less lonely in the world. It’s too bad there are actually real people in this world who are just like that chimp and all they ask is for a bit of friend ship with out strings.

In honour of my long lived and best buddy Missy and mother of Tiger and Goldy. 88-07 Feb 14

Monday, February 12, 2007

I though you might like to see the latest pics of my old cat Missy who is around 21 years of age. I don't know her exact age because my mother got her for me when I was sick with the chicken pox in 88. Missy was part of a large pride of cats from a farm. Little did we know she was also pregnant and had two cute kittens in my closet on top of the socks in April of 88. Who would know since she her self looked kittenish. Anyhow kind of took these around the time as the bird show which I talk about a few posts down. It will probably be the last pics since she's really sick now. I don't think she has many days left. :( I'm really going to miss her very much. She was one of the most loyal cats I knew of since her daughter kittens and I know many would not agree that cats could be loyal but they can if you really get to know them. She understood the word no and yes and she obediently listened. She knew her name quite well and the word treat. She always cuddled up next to you when you were feeling sad, read a book and or read a newspaper. Always loved to be cuddled like a Teddy. :_( These pics were taken with out the flash so that she would not blink and the colour and brightness were enhanced with Photoshop.

I'm sure most of you heard about what happened to that woman astronaut and how she went over the deep end about that fellow male astronaut and the whole nine yards with the diaper and all. Its one of those "what in the world were you thinking" kind of moments. Heh they couldn’t make a stupid soap opera out of this, then again maybe they could. But I probably wouldn’t watch it since I hate soaps. Its just shows you that love can sometimes make people do stupid things.
She sounds like someone who at child hood went though a lot of rejection probably was a nerd, teased and made to feel inadequate. So possibly filled the void brought by rejection with the dream of being something big when she grew up to show all who treated her badly. Her thing was obvious science and she took advantage of it, thus becoming something big as an astronaut. It’s really too bad she blew it big time.

Personally if I could have a talk with her in person, that is if I could, I would put my arm around her shoulder and say, “What in the world were you thinking?” Then I would say “why ruin your whole life for what, some guy?” Some guy that was only interested in that other woman to begin with, someone who probably would have backstabbed you any way. On top of that you ruin your marriage over this one guy? So not worth it. No human is worth fighting over and ruining your life as a result.

Over all no guy should fight over a female and no woman should fight over some guy. It’s just not worth ruining your life and making your rival happy. Besides if anything the rival should feel the guilt and other crap. Why should you? If the relationship is not there or if you feel some one is backstabbing you, just walk away. It’s just not worth it. Besides if some one is a disappointment to you, trust me it will come right back to the perpetrator.

None the less I hope that women gets the proper therapy that she really needs. She sounds like she could really use some emotional support.

I just converted my blogs to the Google blogger thingy. I'm not sure how this is going to turn out. The only reason why I did that is so that I can also use the Google talk, which was recommended by my cousin. I also just put that particular program on my comp and I going to have to do some testing. I only hope that in the end that all this messing around is not going to effect or infect my computer in any way.

Thanks for being patient with me cousin. Just been really busy lately.

Nasty!

Monday, January 15, 2007

Things that been happening lately. Kind of been busy with things so haven’t had the time to blog n stuff. Plus when your feeling like crap it really doesn’t help.
Anyhow, when to the mall 2 weeks ago with mom and she ended up buying me another one of those Artists and Graphic Designer’s Market books. Usually I only buy those every other year cause they kind of cost more then they should. Really I think they really should cost less since they come out every year and really they’re just a type of a directory. Essentially a phone book of media companies with some good tips. On the way home I met a friend and classmate who I haven’t seen in years, which was really nice. I always think about the former animation students and some of the teachers. I miss them so much. Anyways he gave me his e mail so that I could give him any e mail I had of the former students and teachers so he could say a hello long time no speak. I only hope they still work since he still hasn’t e-mailed me back yet.

A few days later we got a package in the snail mail. It was a bunch of wedding photos and a European video from my cousin Anna once removed. Last time I saw her in person she was yelling “boneca, boneca” at a head of cabbage. That means candy in my language. She was only 2 years old. LOL Any how we eventually got the video converted to North American standards and viewed what were constant drinking games. Geez its about all they did though out the video. You wonder how they managed to even still stand up. I’m thinking that this is really going to affect their future children in terms of brain cells. There was also this game that I don’t believe they ever play here in Canada. All the young women had to grope around the men’s, well you get the picture, looking for hard boiled eggs. I guess the woman who found the raw egg, won something, or lost I don’t know.

Well today was Monday and well me and mom when to the mall again today. She was going to get some things over with and I wanted to see if I could find something nice at Ricky’s since I got this coupon for my birthday in the mail a month or so ago. Didn’t end up finding any thing so after my mom got her things we ended up looking around. We ended up buying a small package of truffles that were discounted at the chocolate store there. Yum! We also got this small recipe book of chilly, also discounted and handy. It has this cool dye cut that reminds me of something that a child’s book would have. I only hope the food is good.

See you later Pretty Boy.

I kind of went to bed last night. Really late. It’s a bad habit of mine, I know but then again I have lots of bad habits that I kind of have to break. Its just so irresistible to stay up late since no one bothers you and its really peaceful and you can think about things and no one comes in to gawk and say that's dumb or don't be ridiculous or do the most annoying thing roll there eyes. I hate when people stick their noses in things they don't understand and then try to steer you in another direction because they think it’s the right thing. Well its not, not always. If famous artists and or scientists always listened to what others had to say which they thought was right where would these people be today.

Anyways like I said I was going to bed late last night and was in the middle of prayer and out of the corner of my eye I saw a large shooting star I have ever seen out of the bit of sky that I saw out of my window. I've seen little shooting stars before and sporadic but this one was a real wow! It definitely distracted me for a moment and it sure was cool to see. Nope definitely not a UFO.
I know last weekend there was suppose to be a meteor shower but mostly missed it because it was too cloudy to watch the sky around here. You were suppose to be able to see it in the North West sky and there was suppose to be allot of them. At least I got to see this one and a bit late in the week. Cool. I hope to see more cool things like this. I only hope I don't see the dangerous kinds though.

Just a little more Christmas cheer and using my Christmas tree. How nice!
Merry Christmas!
Don't forget to click on it to see different fazes of it.

Monday, December 18, 2006

A few of my favourite things. I got these out of my calendar that I got a few years ago and I thought I add them to the rest of the Christmas cheer stuff.

Saturday, December 16, 2006

Lets try the Christmas cheer thing again.
But don't forget to click on the pic to see more Christmas cheer.

Friday, December 15, 2006

I thought I share a little Christmas cheer. I'm sure lots of people could use some so here you go.

Ok maybe not. It looks like there's some kind of issues with phishing. Humm Yeah Boneheads. I don't keep any think important like that on the computer. I keep it all in my purse...HA!

Anyways in other news I took the last test from my training a few days ago that I'm not telling any one about as to what about. I passed but it wasn't really satisfying. I was kind of hoping to at least accomplish something really good in my life. It seem to never work out the way I was hope it would. I never seem to pass with flying colours with any thing. It really sucks cause no mater how hard I work at it I always end up with second place or third, never first. Its just so unfair, why can't I just shine and be first at something. I always end up being last. Sigh......
If only there was a prize for me........

Any one else a fan of Sponge Bob Square pants?
I’ve been watching it also since it came out and steadily I’ve noticed that the quality of the show has gone down. My guess is that they as in the people who are in charge must have got newer people working for them because the originals probably got tired of working for the company for whatever reason. Then again you can only come up with so many ideas for eps. It’s a real shame but I guess eventually all good things must come to an end. But until then I’ll still be watching, I guess.

For all you people that think they’re gay, you are wrong. First of all Sponge Bob has a girlfriend named Sandy. Patrick star is Sponge Bob’s best friend. You know like you guys probably had when you were 10 years old? Basically the cartoon is geared toward a child like personality so there for it will have child like goofy antics and cliché and not some twisted gay personality, kind of like Bugs Bunny and the Loony Tunes. Some people just need to get their head out of the gutter, lighten up and enjoy a fun happy cartoon.
I watched Avatar The Last air bender Friday night. It was quite an interesting season finally. Not as good as last years finally but still interesting. Been watching this cartoon since it first aired which I think was two years so far. So far been really enjoying the cartoon, which is sort of like an anime only was made in North America. It has really great story writing with plenty of plot twists n turns with interesting character arcs, interesting character designs and the backgrounds are really nice too. The animal creature designs are interesting too only some are not as creative as it could have been. The flying bison and the lemur are really nice but most of the other animal designs could use some work. I mean what’s with all the pig/animal things? Some one a little obsessed with pigs? A little too much bacon for me thank you. Another thing that doesn’t really appeal to me is the Eastern philosophy, I don’t believe in that reincarnation stuff but other then that an over all enjoyable cartoon.
Now over all the season finally was really good only the ending wasn’t really as satisfying as last years. It sort of left me flat. Also when that Aang dude went in to that last state part you know the part where it kind of looks like he just smoked something and he encounters his spiritual self was a bit disturbing as well. I mean why is that thing all dark and evil and looking like some kind of evil genie. Shouldn’t that spirit thing have a more in the light image if it’s suppose to be pure light and goodness? If you ask me something is really messed up. Something to think about……….

Find out what it’s about encase you don’t know what I’m talking about.

Nearly finished with my training of that secret thing I told you guys about a few posts down, or a least they say. Sometimes people like to hurry along with me because I tend to annoy people after awhile but fine. What ever.
I'm done with the first test but now I have yet to pass the pre final test to pass and finish with all the major training. Yeah nice!

Another reason why most people suck.

I made a visit at one of my favourite message boards and I happen to go in to this one thread about some magician wanting to buy doves and what this one magician said in one part of his post just made me want to beat him up. Sheeh, now here's part of the thread.

I am a magician and have had to work with doves on a regular basis. While on the road I keep my doves in their cages, with plenty of food and water. I never grew an attraction to my doves, so if one does in fact become ill or unable to perform its magical duties, I humanley break its neck and purchase new doves. And helping with economical matters, doves that are hungry enough will in fact eat their own fecal matter and the remains of other doves I have sacrificed.

That is very interesting Randy. But why use doves? Why not crow or magpie, or some other species that does not bond with humans like a dove. The dove is not known as the "bird of peace" for nothing, you know. I assume that in using doves, the magician is trying to pass the message to his audience that he or she has some humane qualities other than simply breaking the dove's necks when it is convenient to be rid of them or feeding them their own fecal matter to save a few dollars. Or is that too simply a part of the illusion that a magician foists on his audience?

Well, I am not yet old enough to go on the road as a traveling magician. I do not even make a career as a magician. Mind you, i do want these doves for magic, but i also want them as companions. I will take very special care of them and give them the proper attention that they need.

regarding my questions, Where have you bought your doves before?

Well it certainly speaks very well of you Mark that you see a dove as something more than a disposable creature to help you earn a few dollars. I get the impression from some of the postings on this web site from other magicians that none of them would share your willingness to take any sort of care of doves. Or perhaps any other animal as well. You may be wanting to break into the wrong line of work.

I am not sure what you mean by the wrong line of work?

And, have you ever bought a dove from this website? If you have, is it safe?

And if not, where did you buy your doves?

What the heck is the matter with these people. No matter what line of work, you don't treat living things like some throw away garbage. If any thing that is garbage are people who don't treat living things with the right kind of respect. Most likely they also treat their fellow man like that too. Like garbage. Geez can you imagine what those bone heads do to bigger creatures like chimps and things like tigers. Another reason why magicians are evil. Well that line of work is evil. I bet most are devil worshipers.

Heh and if they’re so concerned about saving money, that means that they also suck at being a magician. Because they don't have much of an audience they're obviously not making much money.

None the less what those idiots are doing is truly evil.
I hope some how and sometime in he future they will learn a good life-changing lesson to nock some sense into them. Gosh its no wonder why even circuses are being harassed by the PETA. Can you blame them considering that maybe all of show biz is like this to animals?

Yeah people suck.

Almost didn't feel like posting today. I probably should have posted this at least on a Sunday but then I really didn't feel like it. Been to occupied with other things and worrying about things that are also stupid. But what else is new. Its been raining all day but at least it wasn't too cold. Anyhow I took a few pics of the birds from the bird show that I went to on Saturday. It was a small bird show and some of the judging was still going on when I got there so they still had some of the cages turned in a certain way I guess to mark the ones they still have to judge. I also got a sample of cockatiel food out of the whole deal. Its some peletted food with an interesting smell which reminds me of bubble gum. Now I thought that birds don't have a good sense of smell so why would they need to do that. I still don't know if my birds will like the food. My 10 or so doves and one cockatiel that is.

Now here are a few of the best pics for your viewing pleasure. They're not perfect considering I really didn't have any peace when I was there but oh well.

The white cockatiel is my favorite.

On a whim after coming home with the rental for the trip to Frankenmuth for this Sunday, he goes, any one want to go to Colasante's? So we all went, just for the heck of if. If you’re wondering it’s a green house slash petting zoo slash entertainment center. I haven’t been there for a while so I guess it was kind of nice. I was better though when I was little. I had more animals and plants. Now it just has more commercialism and less warm family. Anyhow we decided to have a bite to eat and so I ended up having some of their famous fried chicken. Great I’m making my self hungry and I already brushed my teeth. Anyhow we looked around a bit and then went to the petting zoo area. They had the usual fare of barnyard animals. Lots of cute mini goats, birds and one lazy donkey. I saw the sweatiest little thing a mother hen and her chicks. I wish I still had chickens. Before that I went in the section where they have all these tropical birds and did a little bit of viewing. I also did a bit of imitating. My favorite thing is to mimic the sounds of the squawking and whistling parrots and seeing how they react. Always a barrel of laughs. I don’t think my family was impressed though because they seemed to move too quickly though the displays. I kind of wanted to take some pics but who can find the cool shots if your being rushed. In the end we ended up picking up some wild birdseeds for my doves and something for my cockatiel since the seeds were a really nice price compared to the local pet shops that I usually visit. I hope that I can get some nice pics at the bird show in the next weekend though.

I just did another one of those psychological games. Well it’s really not a game but more of a brain trainer I guess but I hate doing it. I have no choice as I mention before from that secret thing I'm doing. I'm not bad I guess, well at every thing else that it tests on, all except for short-term memory. I really hate the fact that this thing is making me feel like and idiot. I really don't need another reminder. I mean its bad enough that I have a terrible time at remembering peoples names and that I'm lousy at spelling. I'm really sick and tired at being reminded of those things. I like going beyond those areas. I feel reminders like those are kind of distracting to the things that I'm really great at. Sigh…
13 more agonising sessions to go though….

Pondering a weird dream

I had this pretty strange dream a few nights ago and only managed to muster a bit of courage to post about it.

Anyhow it starts like this. I was in animation class (haven't been in one for a few years now) and I was editing some animation using my computer and a large screen that was in the classroom.
A teacher was lecturing on something and the teacher happened to be LOL Patrick Steward.
Now I know that guy doesn’t have a lick of knowledge on how to animate but I know the guy loves animation.
Anyways he continues to lecture the class and why'll the lecture is taking place the students are passing around notes. The note describes him as being a real jerk, a bonehead and other nasty things. What ever else happened I don't know cause I woke up.
Maybe someday I might dream it again and see a conclusion. Who knows.

I kind of made me wonder do you think that Patrick is a jerk in real life?
I answered this interesting thread at some message board and I thought it would be pretty important to put this in here.

why are good looking people treated better in general than 'average/ugly' looking people?

theres another site i go to which requires you to put your photo up, and i noticed there all the good looking people get tonnes of attention and kind messages by people, and these good looking people only devote their attention to beautiful people, ignoring the less visually appealing. there was this one 'ugly' girl on the site who expressed her frustration when she wasnt getting any replies (and the occasional 'thanks' message, nothing more) by saying out loud 'why wont you talk to me? not too pretty for ya or something? shallow bastard.' needless to say, she got flamed by all the pretty women who was getting attention from the guy.

i heard its like this in the workplace too, as well as in tv and media.

though i no doubt anticipate criticism against the whining vented by the frustrated unfortunates, my main purpose of this thread is to simply ask an answer to the question of why does this happen. why do good looking people get better treatment in general than the 'average/ugly' looking ones?

Here was my answer....

Yeah it's a sad fact that people who are blessed with beauty in the eyes of the beholder are treated better. It's a primitive response of society. People who are ugly could possibly be sick, stupid and or possibly might want to harm you according to their looks. Like I said it's a primitive response a subconscious thing that people don't necessarily think about but some how do.
But really it's all a sham. People who are ugly really are most likely smart, nice and do not want to cause you any harm but just want to be treated as an equal. In fact some of the most beautiful people can be the sneakiest people or what ever and take advantage of an individual or what ever. Most take life for granted having lived life mostly on a silver platter and do not want to be seen with a less attractive individual. Yet another sad fact. I've seen it so many times before.

Best thing any one can do is look beyond a person's look and treat every one how you would want to be treated because below our skin we all look the same underneath, gross, full of blood and full of poop.

Oh an if any one dislikes my looks can kiss my @ss.

Thank you.

I thought I post these pics up of a spider I took a few days ago. One of them was taken with the flash and the others were not. There not perfect since I don't have a professional digital camera. But it does the job.
One thing is that I do notice a lot of insects this year no to mention lots of animals in the last year. I really think they like our small humble yard. Not to mention our food. >:( Anyways in particular there seems to be allot of spiders. Every where I go it seems that I'm accidentally bumping in to one and sometimes I get several spiders hanging on my clothes. I'm sure glad I'm not a fly. All the spider webs remind of some dreams and possibly some scary movies where there are spider webs hanging every where you turn. The pics that I took of are showing the grand daddy of all the spiders that are hanging out at our yard, the one with yellow stripes. I don't know what these spiders are called but I haven't seen these in my back yard since I was little and living at our old house with the large cool yard with the bush in the back. I was surprised to see this thing at our current location so I took its pictures. It was right after a storm so I'm sure you guys can see the water droplets on the web.

Wow another post.

I heard the crocodile hunter died in a freak accident. It could have been avoided I do believe.....if he had a bit more respect for the wild life. I know he really, really loved the animals but there is a limit for that and now he's gone. It was obvious that he would go like that eventually.

I'm kind of worried about tomorrow and yeah it has something to do with my secret but I guess its just more crap I have to go though. Ever since I loaded that CD with that "must used software" because I have no choice, me thinks my computer now has a virus. I think that person who burned that CD with the software was the one who had that virus. >:( And I just had my computer free of that garbage. I'm usually very careful of that. Its just really annoying.

A sleepy Sunday

Sadly its starting to get annoyingly cool. Sadly its something a thing to come. I think it came a little early this year compared to last year. Of course I was working at my crappy job at the time and trying to get though the day by blocking out all the things I had to tolerate, thus also ignoring the weather as well. In case you can't tell I really don't like winter and fall. They depress me and make me sick as in getting colds. The food is not as good as it is in the summer time and if you ask me there are more verities of colours n smells in the spring and summer. Remember quality and not quantity. That is the key.

There really isn't much on TV and or the net for that matter. I could play a video game but I'm kind of staying a way from those for a while in order to concentrate on my art est. I really need to get to my sketch book but some how I have too much on my mind lately with that secret in all. Tomorrow I'm going to make that zucchini snack cake. I hope it turns out. The last thing that I made kind was not to par.

I got a secret

And I'm not telling you guys.
It's something my parents only know and I only told my cousin. They are the privileged few and no one else. So * razzzberrrryy* Lets just say um, its some times difficult, its scary for me, its something that I'm learning and I have mixed feelings about it over all. So will have to see if what I'm doing is successful and won't kill me in the end. I really don't want to die. I like living even though life can be pretty painful to me.
