At the Zoo 7And this was the reason why I missed out on the photo opportunity with the meerkats.
What human would miss out on these colorful and shiny things. People love colourful n shiny things.
This is my most favourite set of pics. I kind of wish I had one of these in my bed room.

Meerkats are fun to watch but I think you made the right choice.

I also like the hippo pics too. Your zoo looks better than mine.
If you ask me like every thing else it had more quality once upon a time.
I'd say the Detroit zoo is vastly improved, even better then the Toronto zoo. But I could be wrong since they are updating and improving some exhibits.
One thing I was surprised at was the lack of parrots. Only one Macaw and Cockatoo. My guess the other parrots made a jail break. LOL
